Forget summer camps, Camp Bacon exists and offers participants plenty of opportunities to experience tasty smoked bacon. The event draws in bacon fans, bacon makers, journalists, chefs, and culinary historians. Some events are open to the public, like the Camp Bacon Street Fair which includes vendors selling bacon-related products.
Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival – Miami, FL
A five-day affair of dinners, presentations, and classes with celebrity chefs such as Rachael Ray, Andrew Zimmern, Guy Fieri, and Giada De Laurentiis. This event draws thousands of people each year due to impressive wine, craft beer, and spirit makers, as well as exquisite farm-to-table style cuisine.
Great American Foodie Fest – Las Vegas, NV
The Great American Foodie Fest is a compilation of some of the best specialty food vendors, restaurants and gourmet food trucks from all around the country that have been featured on the Food Network, Cooking Channel, and Travel Channel.
New York City Wine & Food Festival – New York City, NY
The Big Apple hosts a weekend-long eating and drinking extravaganza, complete with sit-down dinners, walk-around tastings, and plenty of opportunities to meet and greet your favorite Food Network stars. The NYCWFF donates 100% of the net proceeds to the Food Bank For New York and No Kid Hungry charities.
Hawaii Food & Wine Festival – Maui/Hawaii/Oahu, HI
Set in the lush island paradise of Hawaii, the festival will take place over three weekends on multiple islands, featuring a roster of over 100 internationally-renowned master chefs, culinary personalities, and wine makers.
